Other informations

The most recent computed values will be displayed in the computation process in order to give to the user the possibility to interpret them, and, eventually, to stop the computation process. The current stepnumber, the elapsed time and the realized percent of the computations will be also displayed in the same purpose.

The user can stop the computation process any time. Unfortunately, in this first version of EpODE, the possibility to continue the computation process from the stopped point is not implemented until now. The user can restart the computation process with the same or other parameters.

The user can obtain useful informations about the evolution of the computation process. On the 'Solve' menu one can find the item 'Show active procedure' with different subitems: 'No trace', 'Standard', 'Details', 'More details', representing different levels of presenting the messages of different active EpODE functions (one can read for example, message like 'Load a method', 'Establish the method properties', 'Search for stability', or 'Function evaluations', 'Stepsize evaluation', and son on).
