Selection of computing parameters

In the computational process the user must:

• control the global error (between the approximate solution and the exact solution);

• known an estimation of the computation time;

• known the elapsed computation time;

• known the intermediate values of the approximate solution;

• have the possibility to stop or restart the computation process.

How these will be accomplished depends on how the numerical method will be selected:

• the user select the method;

• the method is selected automatically.
